Chainsaw Man presents his bloodiest action scene!

The last episode of chain saw man made more than one react. In the previous episode, Aki’s team was cornered by the Infinity Demon. Their only way out was to deliver Denji to the demon. Some on edge team members wanted it to be that way. Denji, tired of seeing so much tension, threw himself into the mouth of the demon. But it was not without having the firm resolve to fight.

After launching himself towards the Infinity Demon, Denji was engulfed. At first we realize that he has difficulty injuring his opponent, due to the growth of the demon which seems not to stop. Denji is so taken aback that he loses blood, and his chainsaws subside. The attacks of the demon are numerous. But just as he is about to lose his footing, Denji bites into the flesh of the Infinity Demon. He discovers that it allows him to regenerate, and even to have more energy.

Himeno lends him a hand by triggering his chainsaw. Denji resumes his attacks. The two enemies will confront each other in a “perpetual motion”. Denji cutting up the Infinity Demon. The latter who loses blood and flesh, which Denji feeds on in return. This movement lasted three consecutive days. At the end of his strength and suffering, the demon of infinity begged Denji to end it by offering him his heart. Jubilantly, the Devil Hunter granted his wish, which allowed him and the rest of the team to exit the hotel. This sequence was storyboarded and animated by Keiichiro Watanabe. The latter is known for his crazy animation style. He notably worked on Jujutsu Kaisen 0, a few episodes of One Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100.

Who is Denji?

During their fight, the infinity demon had taken a great interest in Denji. He taunted him saying, “You’re all weak compared to before.” Which indicates that the two demons would know each other. On the side of the Devil Hunters the question arose. Himeno was surprised by his strength, and the interest he arouses both in Devil Hunters like Makima, and in the demons who chase him. The next episodes will clarify the situation.
