In a few days, fans of Japanese animation will discover the first season of chain saw manthe new anime from the now legendary studio MAPPA. We learn today that Tatsuki Fujimoto, the author of the manga, is a big fan of Jujutsu Kaisen.
A beautiful tribute
Created in 2011, the MAPPA studio has succeeded in establishing itself, thanks to just a few anime, among the most important contemporary Japanese animation studios. The success of season 4 of The attack of the Titansof Jujutsu Kaisen or even of Dororo have made the team gathered around Masao Maruyama one of the most sought after in the industry. And the studio will continue to amaze us, with season 2 of Vinland Saga and chain saw man. This last anime will begin from October 11th! Moreover, to discover these five upcoming series that will make MAPPA the kings of Japanese animationit’s this way.
Also, while the series is fast approaching, we have a very special attention on the news around its author, Tatsuki Fujimoto. And it seems that the mangaka is a particular fan of a character from Jujutsu Kaisenwritten by Gege Akutami (and whose anime is produced by MAPPA): Nobara Kugisaki. Student of Satoru Gojo, Nobara Kugisaki is one of the classmates and friends of the main character, Yuki Itadori. Fighting with nails and a hammer, she has great physical strength.
Tatsuki Fujimoto also drew her, and shared her version of Nobara Kugisaki on Twitter. And the least we can say is that she is badass!
