To see the clothes of the two young saiyans finally become teenagers, they will become superheroes. Piccolo and Gohan will also be present in this new story. This arc shouldn’t be as long as Granola’s, and should only serve as a prequel to the film’s story. The arc does not yet have a title but here is its presentation:
Finally the new arc of Dragon Ball Super is coming!!
” Impossible ! These two in Super Heroes?! »
Pay attention to this duo!!
The new arc will be back in next month’s V-Jump!
The arc will be a story that takes place before the movie Dragon Ball Super – Super Hero!!
Also expect a big turnout from Gohan and Piccolo!!
At the end of chapter 87 Dragon Ball Super it was stipulated that the manga would take a break so that the writers could prepare for the new arc. Indeed the arc of Granola the Survivor ended with this chapter in August.
The executive producer and chef of the Dragon Room,Akio Iyoku had previously said that a new arc would begin in 2022, so he kept his word.
The manga will therefore have been on hiatus for 3 months (September, October and November). Which is apparently the maximum for a break for the Shueisha to prepare for a new arc.
Further announcements of new Dragon Ball projects are expected to arrive by the end of 2022.
Volume 19 was released on August 4, 2022 in Japan. the volume 17 of Dragon Ball Super was released on July 6, 2022 in France.
