The prequel to the successful manga and anime created by Gege Akutami has reached Mexican theaters, with a great job of voices in Latin Spanish for the characters. The film follows the story of Yuta Okkotsu, an insecure high school student, who enrolls in the mysterious Tokyo Academy of Magic under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo after being haunted by the curse of his childhood friend.

When they were children, Rika Orimoto died in a car accident in front of her best friend, Yuta Okkotsu. Rika became a ghost and Yuta came to wish for her own death after suffering under her curse, when the great mage Satoru Gojo welcomes him to the Academy of Sorcery. There Yuta meets his companions: Maki Zen’in, Toge Inumaki and Panda, and finally finds the courage that he lacked. Meanwhile, the evil warlock Suguru Geto, who was expelled from the Academy for murdering innocents, appears before Yuta and his friends. While Geto supports the creation of an exclusive paradise for sorcerers, he unleashes a thousand curses on Shinjuku and Kyoto to exterminate all non-sorcerers. Can Yuta stop Geto? Will he be able to end Rika’s curse?
Interview with Paty Acevedo and Diego Ramora
Cinema PREMIERE was able to chat with the talent behind the dubbing of Jujutsu Kaisen 0. In an interview, the director, Patty Acevedoand the actor diego ramora, who gives life to Yuta Okkotsu. In an interview, they talked about how they both came to the universe in which the film takes place.
While Acevedo tells us that she had already had a prior approach to the material because she directs the series – which can be seen on the Crunchyroll platform – Ramora confesses that the opportunity came to him thanks to TikTok. Since he discovered the story on said social network, he became a big fan.
Another point that was addressed during the conversation was his excitement at the arrival of the film in theaters. According to the director of the vocal work, it is good that the franchise jumped from the streaming to the big screen, as more people will be able to be interested in the wonderful adventures of the team of the Tokyo Academy of Wizardry.
