After the announcement of the film’s release date in France, it is no less than the second season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime which has just been made official! A joy for fans of the franchise!

Already this week, fans of AKUTAMI Gege’s manga, Jujutsu Kaisen, had learned with joy that the film would finally be released in French cinemas. Scheduled for next march 16, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Movie is eagerly awaited by the community. And rightly so. The film quickly became one of the highest-grossing anime films at the Japanese box office. And while a big announcement was expected for today, it’s neither more nor less than the second season of the anime that has just been made official. It is indeed via a Tweet published on the official account of the series that the announcement fell this morning!

It is on the occasion of a special event, dedicated to Jujutsu Kaisen, that the formalization of season 2 of the anime has been unveiled. Scheduled for 2023 (next year), the announcement was accompanied by an illustrated message from the manga’s author, AKUTAMI Gege. The first season, broadcast between October 2020 and March 2021, was produced by the famous studio MAPPA (The attack of the Titans, Gambling School or even, planned for 2022, the anime of chain saw man). For now, we don’t know yet if the team of season 1 will be the same for season 2. In addition, an official trailer should also be unveiled in the coming days.

The anime had also been part of most watched anime by the Japanese in 2021. The manga currently has 18 volumes in Japan and the 13th, offering a collector’s edition for the occasion, was recently released on French shelves.
