Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is currently making its way to cinemas in North America and other international territories following the film’s original debut in Japan last year, and that means now is the perfect time to answer some of the big fan questions. ! This is the first experience many fans will have with the original limited story that Gege Akutami previously released. Jujutsu Kaisen became an official series. It introduces fans to a whole new type of hero that had been mentioned in passing in the anime, and with the film sets up some very important aspects for the future of the franchise.
The simple answer to the question of whether or not Jujutsu Kaisen 0 has a post-credits scene is yes. The new movie does indeed have an extra scene after the credits end, so be sure to stick around until the end to see some more special material. The most exciting aspects of this new scene, however, are its ties not only to the original story of the previous manga, but also to current events in the series. Read below for the full, spoiler-filled breakdown of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 post-credits scene! You have been warned, there are plenty of spoilers here!
Jujutsu Kaisen 0for the most part is a direct adaptation of the manga in four chapters, Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School. This means that the same material can be seen in the manga, but the movie adds a few characters and elements that fill out the conflicts even more. This includes the brand new moment seen during Jujutsu Kaisen 0of the post-credits scene. He reverts to the current Yuta Okkotsu, who left for a new assignment overseas during his second year of enrollment at Jujutsu Tech. He not only reunited with Miguel, who had fought for Suguru Geto against Satoru Gojo during the events of the film, but it was soon revealed that Gojo had approached them both.
It’s clear he has a new plan in mind, but sadly, that’s where the post-credits scene ends. It’s vague, but has strong ties to the events of the manga. Fitting in exactly at a certain point where Gojo would have had a previous conversation with Yuta, without saying too much, this post-credits scene will come into play after the Shibuya Incident arc. This arc will be the focus of the current second season, so this final piece sets fans up for Yuta’s official TV anime debut one day.
It’s unclear if this will be for Season 2 or even Season 3 of the anime, but it’s an exciting match nonetheless as it’s something fans have never seen in the manga! But what do you think?
