Jujutsu Kaisen Cliffhanger Hosts Yuta’s Next Culling Game Fight

Jujutsu Kaisen Set the stage for Yuta Okkotsu’s next fight in the Culling Game with the cliffhanger for the series’ latest chapter! Gege Akutami’s original manga series spent the final set of chapters exploring Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro’s early hours inside Kenjaku’s Culling game, and now that the two have reached a breaking point, it it’s time to shed some light on how the fights in the other settlements are shaping up. The latest chapter in the series actually looks back at Yuta first, as we see the damage he’s done in the game so far.

The final chapter of the series focuses on Sendai Colony and it was quickly revealed that it was a much more intense situation in which Yuji and Megumi found themselves with Tokyo Colony #1. The upper tier of players here seem to have higher point totals and deadlier skills overall, but Yuta quickly resolves the situation by already upsetting the stable balance that the top players had set themselves up to now. Already taking out one of the heavy hitters, the final moments of the new chapter see Yuta preparing to take out another.

Chapter 174 of the series reveals that after Yuta manages to eliminate one of the strongest players in the colony, the other three at the top also prepare to act since he has essentially created a power vacuum. The four wizards were unable to make a move for fear of being caught by the others, but now Yuta comes face to face with a cursed spirit that has taken the form of a giant cockroach. It was revealed that Kurourushi not only controls a hive of cockroaches, but is also a giant version of the insect with a powerful weapon of its own.

Seeing his abilities, Yuta understands that in order to survive through the Culling Game for the rest of the time they are going to be stuck in it, they are going to have to score enough points to come up with new rules in their favor. At the same time, he will have to move fast enough to ensure that the most dangerous players do not come out of the settlements. That means we’ll likely be following Yuta for the next few chapters as he tries to achieve his Culling Game goals. Starting with taking out a giant cockroach.
