Jujutsu Kaisen has an array of wizards under his belt, but the truth is, few can hold Yuta Okkotsu a candle. The hero has become a mainstay of the fandom as Jujutsu Kaisen 0 brought him to life on screen. As fans around the world wait for the chance to catch the movie, many are taking the time to celebrate Yuta in other ways, and one cosplayer is going viral for his take on the fan-favorite hero.

The Chinese cosplayer has done a number of looks for hit anime series, but Jujutsu Kaisen climbed on their list when his first film began to be released outside of Japan. And clearly, their love for Yuta helped them create one of the character’s best cosplays yet.
As you can see, the fan put together a simple cosplay that reflects all of Yuta’s simple design choices. Their hair is styled perfectly to mimic his messy aesthetic, and Yuta’s white shirt is perfectly loose. The rest of the cosplay comes down to makeup as Yuta’s dark circles and large eyes are recreated using eye shadow. Even the cosplay complexion is perfect thanks to a highlighter, so the only thing missing here is Rika.

“Yuta Okkotsu is a nervous high school student who suffers from a serious problem – his childhood friend Rika has turned into a curse and won’t leave him alone. Since Rika is no ordinary curse, her fate is noticed by Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Jujutsu High, a school where young exorcists learn to fight curses. Gojo convinces Yuta to enroll, but will he be able to learn enough in time to face the curse that haunts him?
