Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade: what is the game?
Announced in June 2021, the Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade video game promises to join the long line of successful manga video game adaptations on mobile. Whether it’s Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle, My Hero Academia: Ultra Impact or One Piece: Bounty Rush, the game adapted from Gege Akutami’s manga seems to be taking the same path. Indeed, six months after its announcement, a short trailer (to be viewed at the top of this article): it allows you to glimpse turn-based combat mechanics with the iconic characters of the manga. Indeed, we see Itadori, Megumi, but also Kugisaki and Gojo.
Unfortunately, pre-registrations for the game are not yet available in France. However, there is a way to pre-register and be sure not to miss any installation of the game (even if JV will warn you when this is the case). It is then necessary to “cheat” concerning its location and make believe that we are in Japan in order to preinstall the game. Moreover, it is good to note that pre-registration is not yet available for Apple devices. Here’s the procedure to follow :
- Have a second Google account
- Download the app TunnelBear and register if not already done
- Launch the application with the desired Google account then click on the pipe in Japan
- Once connected, go to the Google Play Store
- Log in with the account used by Tunnel Bear
- Copy かいせん and paste it into the search bar above in the store
- Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade should be the third suggestion
- Press pre-record
And There you go ! A priori, you are pre-registered for the beta of Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade. This should not take long to start, since the game has been announced for 2022 in Japan. While waiting for a possible release in France, we can always (re)watch the television adaptation of Gege Akutami’s manga available on Crunchyroll. The manga are also still being published. What to be ready for 2023, with the arrival of the Blu-Ray / DVD of the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 as well as the second season of the anime.
