Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Paradewill be the first video game of the sorcerers franchise which is very close to being released from what you can already see its incredible opening animated by none other than MAPPAthe studio that brought the anime series and the movie to life Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
Fans of Gege Akutami’s work have been waiting since last year for the release of Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Paradethe first video game based on the popular franchise which will arrive this year in Japan and will be available only for mobile devices with Android and iOS.
This game really promises a lot because despite being only for tablets or mobile phones, it will have a new story arc based on the events of the main series, so it could somehow become canon. It will also introduce new characters to the story, and as if that were not enough, it has the full support of MAPPA, who has been in charge of creating its incredible opening that seemed even for the second season of the anime.
In the unpublished video with the characteristic animation style of the popular Japanese studio, we can see all the characters that we already know from the first season, both sorcerers and curses. In addition, it is accompanied by the song “AVANT” of the group EVE who also interpret the main theme of the first season.
As we already mentioned, this game will arrive in 2022 but only in Japan, well a release window for Mexico and Latin America has not yet been confirmed. However, let us not forget that very soon we will be able to see Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in cinemas, exactly next March 24.
As if that were not enough, remember that the second season of the adventures of Yuji, Nobara and Megumi is already more than confirmed, although we will have to wait until 2023 to see it.
What did you think of the opening of Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade made by MAPPA?
