Jujutsu Kaisen Promises Major Announcement Is Near

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is the latest anime project in the Shonen series created by Gege Akutami, with Studio MAPPA’s prequel film slated for a Western release in March and already earning serious profits from its theatrical release in Japan. As fans wait to find out when the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen The TV series will return, the franchise hints at a major announcement in the coming days that is sure to give fans of Yuji Itadori and his fellow wizards who attend Jujutsu Tech plenty to talk about.

With the manga continuing in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump, there’s plenty of material for the anime adaptation of Jujutsu Kaisen to be used for future seasons. Currently, the young wizards grapple with the events of the Culling Game, fighting for their lives against supernatural threats. With Yuji still struggling with his inner demon known as Sukuna the Curse King, Akutami hinted that the manga is nearing the end of its series, which would certainly leave a giant void in the Shonen Jump roster. For a season two, it hasn’t been confirmed if MAPPA will return, but chances are the studio will return to supernatural beat-em-ups.

Twitter Outlet Anime TV Japan shared the news that Jujutsu Kaisen is gearing up to make a big announcement shortly, with many fans believing an announcement for the second season is near, which would further explore the lives of Jujutsu Tech students, their teachers, and the supernatural threats that lurk around every corner. :

MAPPA has a lot to do right now, not just with Jujutsu Kaisenbut with the last season of The attack of the Titans which puts an end to the history of the scout regiment. In addition to these two series, MAPPA is also currently working on the long-awaited anime adaptation for Chainsaw Man, the bloody series created by Tatsuki Fujimoto. With the success of Jujutsu Kaisen 0it will be interesting to see how many films MAPPA dives into.
