Jujutsu Kaisen 0 hits US theaters on March 18 and promises to dive deeper into the main anime’s supporting characters. Read also: Locke and Key Season 3: Cast, Release Date and Trailer. While the film doesn’t feature characters like Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki, it does contain a number of familiar faces – from Satoru Gojo to Panda, Maki Zenin, and Toge Inumaki.
The film centers on Yuta Okkotsu, a teenager bound to the cursed spirit of his late best friend. Based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will see Yuta learn to control his cursed energy with the help of Gojo, Panda, Maki, and Toge.
According to Crunchyroll’s new trailer, the group will also tackle a number of powerful curses. Not to mention Suguru Geto, who appears to be engaged in combat with Panda and Toge in the trailer. Perhaps fans will learn more about the series villain in this prequel story. As it takes place before Itadori’s arrival at Jujutsu High, it could shed some light on Geto’s actions in the main anime.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 release date and where to watch it.
According to a press release from Crunchyroll, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be released in 1,500 theaters in the United States. It will also be available in a number of IMAX theaters for those who want a more immersive experience. Tickets for the dubbing and subtitling are currently on sale in the United States, and they will be available in Canada starting March 1.
