Franchise Jujutsu Kaisen continues to be talked about and it now goes well beyond the sphere of japanimation. If other franchises like Fullmetal Alchemist, One Piece and Cowboy Bebop invite themselves to Hollywood cinema, Jujutsu Kaisen intends to tread the boards.
This year, Jujutsu Kaisen will be entitled to its own play. And in view of this event, a new poster has been published.
The exorcists put on a show
From manga to theatre, Gege Akutami’s work ventures into new universes while evolving in his areas of expertise. Everything seems to be running smoothly for this franchise that succeeds in everything it does. After a first season of 24 episodes which was a hit, it didn’t take long for the producers to add a layer.
In December 2021, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the very first animated film of the franchise debuted and is also a worldwide success. Suffice to say that all this bodes well for a second season that the fandom is enthusiastic to discover. But before getting there, a play, titled Jujutsu Kaisen Stage Play, will soon see the light of day.
As of now, a few posters featuring the characters have already been released. Protagonists like Itadori Yuji, Megumi Fushiguro or Satoru Gojo have been unveiled. This time, it’s the turn of the main antagonists of the first season to benefit from a spotlight. You can see this poster below:

No light without darkness
What would a hero story be without villains to fight? Jujutsu Kaisen follows the same principle and gives viewers an avalanche of villains, each more sordid than the next. With this poster, you must have recognized the plague group led by Suguru Geto (Rei Fujita) during the first season.
In addition to appearing in this presentation, he shares the poster with Hanami (Yoshihiro Minami), Jogo (Mondo Yamagishi) and the Machiavellian Mahito (Motohiro Ota). Looking a little closer, we can only admit that the disguises are extremely successful. The play directed by Kensaku Kobayashi is set to debut sometime in July. As for the casting of the play, the names of the actors are already known.
To embody Itadori Yuji, the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen, the choice of producers turned to Ryuji Sato. Kazuaki Yasue stars as familiar summoner Megumi Fushiguro, and Eriya Toyohara plays voodoo doll user Nobara Kugisaki. Ryosuke Miura embodies Satoru Gojo and Tact Igarashi takes on the role of the evil Ryomen Sukuna.
