Jujutsu Kaisen Teams Up With Spider-Man In This Savage Makeover

Jujutsu Kaisen took the opportunity to continue his story by breaking with Yuji Itadori as the protagonist with his new film. While Jujutsu Kaisen 0 made big profits at the box office in Japanese cinemas, a certain wallcrawler conquered the world market as Spider-Man: No Way Home became one of the biggest films in the ranks of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a fan artist has broken these two properties into one.

Spider-Man: No Way Home may not have much in common with the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, but it was able to delve much further into the world of the supernatural and mysticism, making it much closer to the world of Yuji Itadori than previous entries. Casting the current master of mysticism in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Dr. Strange, Peter Parker found himself battling villains from a different universe, including Doctor Octopus, Sandman, Electro, and Green Goblin to name a few. to name a few, getting a helping hand from some startling numbers in the process.

Reddit Artist Historical Library 35 shared this unique merge that sees Marvel’s Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man as a Jujutsu Tech student rather than a high school student at Midtown High, with Yuji tying down the web shooters and gaining quite the power as a result of this art:

Good that Jujutsu Kaisen 0 has already hit theaters in Japan, fans in North America have yet to hear when the MAPPA-produced film will be released in the West. Given the series’ success, we imagine the prequel will be coming to the United States at some point this year.

While Spider-Man himself has never hit the Jujutsu Tech world in an official crossover, Peter Parker has hit the anime world before, with the Avengers battling juggernauts in The attack of the Titans few years ago. With Marvel continuing to release new manga that put its characters in a new medium, the sky’s the limit for who the wallcrawler could encounter.
