my hero academia is back with a new chapter this week, and it’s a doozy to say the least. Creator Kohei Horikoshi comes out swinging this year, but everyone needs a break once in a while. It is the same my hero academia‘s, and that’s why the series will soon be taking its first hiatus of 2022.
The update arrived today when Weekly Shonen Jump pull out their new number. This is where fans were treated to updates from Jujutsu Kaisen and more, but my hero academia ended its latest version with an update. It turns out that the next issue of the magazine won’t feature Izuku.
My Hero Academia will be on hiatus next week in issue #9. The series will return the following week in issue #10.

The 9th issue of the magazine will jump my hero academia, but no worries! The break won’t last long. The series will return with a new chapter in issue ten once February arrives.
These short breaks are nothing to worry about, and they give creators like Horikoshi the chance to rest amidst their busy schedules. Not only is the artist currently in charge of the manga, but Horikoshi is also helping to my hero academiaThe anime and merchandising offerings of . There’s a lot for him to follow, so fans are happy to hear that the man is making time for himself. And if he has the opportunity, the artist can even gorge himself on Spider Man comics at home until called back for issue ten!
If you need to catch up on the series as such, Viz Media is your one-stop-shop. The publisher not only has physical copies of my hero academia in stores, but its digital copies are up to date with Japan. Viz Media publishes simultaneously Saut shonen issues with their overseas release, so you never have to wait more than a few hours for chapters once they’re live!
