After the world card of the first season, Jujutsu Kaisen returns this summer for a second part eagerly awaited by the fans. To increase the enthusiasm a few weeks before the broadcast of the first episode, Mappa has unveiled a new trailer which presents an animation that is still as neat as ever.

While the manga debuted in 2018, Jujutsu Kaisen was quickly entitled to an anime adaptation by Mappa in 2020. Today, it is indisputable that the animation studio is one of the best known in the industry as its teams have worked on prestigious projects: Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man, Vinland Saga, Terror in Resonance… There are has something to do. In reality, it is also with Jujutsu Kaisen and all its enthusiasm that the company has made a solid reputation. It must be said that the first season amazed anime fans as the animation was of quality. This new trailer for the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen focuses on the first arc that will be adapted, namely that of the Hidden Treasure and Premature Death. Behind this convoluted title, fans can expect to uncover some of Satoru Gojo’s pastthe most stylish sensei of the moment, when he is still younger than in the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The opportunity to discover his friendship with Suguru Geto which is an important element in understanding the sequence of events, and even this which takes place in Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
Beyond that, this one and a half minute video shows the animation of some action which are simply impressive as they are fluid and detailed. This confirms once again that Mappa remains a key studio in the Japanese animation industry as their productions are stunning every time. If we can’t wait to see this manga arc in anime, it’s especially the second part of season 2 that should put us the most in our eyes. Entitled the arc of Drama in Shibuya, the latter marks a real turning point in the manga as the stakes are high and the fights impressive.
