Studio MAPPA: work and perseverance

Compared to other studios, MAPPA is relatively young. The studio was born in 2011. However, from the beginning, it was able to impose itself by working on projects such as Kids on the Slope or Hajime no Ippo. This allowed the young company to identify itself both graphically and by its pace of work. MAPPA is known for accepting large projects that require a great deal of attention. This year, the studio pulled off a real tour de force on Attack on Titan. Fans can’t wait to see what Chainsaw Man and Hell’s Paradise will look like.

Besides the fans, animation professionals also rave about MAPPA’s work. LeSean Thomas director and co-producer of Yasuke had this to say:

“The most important thing about MAPPA is that it is a young and hungry team, full of energy and creative talents… It was great to work with Studio MAPPA. The work with MAPPA happened very quickly, and when we started working with them, there was no Attack on Titan Season 4 or Jujutsu Kaisen. When I saw their first footage of Attack on Titan, I thought that was crazy. People are going to freak out. »
