After acquiring the rights to Millarworld (2017) and StoryBots (2019), Netflix continues its expansion strategy. The platform has just acquired Scanline VFX, a visual effects studio founded in 1989. The company is known for its visuals on many films and series such as Game of Thrones and Godzilla vs. Kong. Lately, the company has produced visuals for Cowboy Bebop, for the last season of Stranger Things and on the film Don’t Look Up. Netflix will only invest in the company’s infrastructure and workforce.
