A new juggernaut
For many years, the big three, One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach, held the top spots. This film was simply a hit at the box office and earned a place among the best animated films of all time. The anime series meanwhile scooped the Animation of the Year award at the 2022 Tokyo Anime Award Festival.

Franchise projects
If Jujutsu Kaisen makes a thunderous debut, that doesn’t mean he has nothing left to prove. It’s just the beginning and Itadori Yuji has yet to show what he can do. Moreover, new protagonists like Yuta Okkotsu also attract attention without forgetting Satoru Gojo. There are still quite a few chapters that need to be adapted. Although we don’t know much about season 2 yet, it is possible that a return is planned for 2023. Studio Mappa is of course still in charge.
