Good news for all those who waited miraculous ladybug: A fifth season is in preparation and should be broadcast this year.
If you don’t know what this show is, it is a French CGI anime series that premiered in 2015. The actual title of the show is Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir and was licensed by Nickelodeon until 2016. Its rights were later transferred to ChildrenClick from 2017 to 2019 until its closure. It was also the time when netflix picked up the adventure series and began airing the first three seasons.
The miraculous ladybug Season 4 premiered in the United States in June 2021. And now many are wondering if there will be a miraculous ladybug Season 5.
Here’s what we know about the show right now:

While it has been confirmed that a season 5 of miraculous ladybug is in the works, we also know that the show will no longer air on Netflix. That’s because Disney acquired the rights to miraculous ladybug Season 5. Due to this, the show will not be available on Netflix.
Once the fifth season airs, it will be available exclusively on Disney+.
Unfortunately, the release date of the show has not yet been announced. But there are reports that believe that the show will be launched in the summer of 2022. However, this might not be a release date in the United States as the show usually launches in France first. But now that Disney has the rights, that could change.

As revealed by the show’s producer, Jeremy Zag, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir has been renewed for seasons six and seven. The announcement was made at CCXPWorlds. There is no schedule for these two seasons at the moment, but at least it is confirmation that there is something to look forward to.
It’s also unclear how long these two seasons will last. miraculous ladybug Season 5 will follow the format of previous seasons, which have 26 episodes.

Because miraculous ladybug it’s a CGI movie, we probably won’t see the actors of the series. But if you know their voices, you might recognize one or two. Here is the cast list for the show for the English version:

The adventure story follows two seemingly ordinary Parisian teenagers, Marinette Dupain-Cheng (voiced by Cristina Vee) and Adrien Agreste (voiced by Bryce Papenbrook). But once Master Wang Fu gives them magic gems, they become superheroes known as Ladybug and Cat Noir, respectively. However, the two do not know each other’s secret identity. To make things interesting, Marinette has a crush on Adrien.
When miraculous ladybug Season 4 ended, we learn that the main enemy, Hawk Moth (played by Keith Silverstein), has taken over most of the supernatural phenomena. As a result, other superheroes are now more vulnerable. And that’s what we could expect to see in season 5.
Ladybug and Cat Noir will work together to recover the stolen miracle. And by doing so, they hope to prevent their enemy from causing further damage.

As of this writing, there is no trailer available yet for miraculous ladybug Season 5. But we hope to see a trailer for the series, especially since reports believe the series will be released in the summer of 2022. We’ll be sure to update this post once a trailer- ad will be available.
