The live-action film aimed to westernize the premise of a teenage boy and girl swapping bodies against the backdrop of a natural disaster. While it’s unclear if Carlos Lopez Estrada will be working on the same idea, it was set to follow a young Native American woman living in a rural area and a young man from Chicago who discover that they magically and intermittently switch bodies. When disaster threatens to upend their lives, they must travel to meet each other and save their worlds.
