Boku no Hero Academia reveals a new visual for its sixth season — Kudasai

On the official site for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi, boku no hero academia (My Hero Academia), a new promotional image for the sixth season of the project was revealed. The press release confirms that the premiere remains scheduled for the next season of Autumn-2022 (October-December) and announces that the event “HERO FES 2022“, where the voice cast of the franchise meets to reveal more information, will be held on July 24 in Japan.

The fifth season premiered in Japan on March 27 and had a total of twenty-five episodes, while the platforms Crunchyroll and Funimation took care of its distribution in the West. For his part, Horikoshi began publishing the manga boku no hero academia in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from the publisher Shueisha in July 2014. The literary franchise already exceeds 50 million accumulated copies in circulation.

Synopsis of Boku no Hero Academia

One day, a four-year-old suddenly realized: the world is not fair. Eighty percent of the world’s population possesses special abilities, known as “quirks,” that have given many the power to fulfill their childhood dreams of becoming superheroes. Unfortunately, Izuku Midoriya was one of the few who was born without a quirk, and suffered discrimination for it. However, everything changes after a chance encounter with Izuku’s number one hero and idol, All Might.
