This return date was announced today by the producers of the series on the official My Hero Academia Twitter account. Part 2 of season 6 will return to the small screen on Saturday January 7, 2023. Suffice to say that this is very good news for fans who will not have to wait very long before seeing their favorite heroes.
So, if until now you hadn’t taken the plunge to watch season 6, there’s still time to catch up. Season 6 and the previous 5 seasons are available in full on the streaming platform Crunchyroll.
Shigaraki Tomura is public enemy number 1
Deku and his comrades have really seen all the colors throughout this fall. With the premature retirement of Japan’s number one hero, All Might, society is turned upside down.
And all this is the work of the villains who have at heart to reduce to ashes this society which they consider unfair. This revolt movement is now embodied by Shigaraki Tomura who has proven his worth to Re-Destro, the leader of the Paranormal Liberation Front.
And as if he wasn’t already scary enough with the power of his Quirk “Disintegration”, he has now entered a new dimension. And all this will not help the situation for the heroes who no longer know where to turn.
One for all and all for one
Thanks to the genetic modifications carried out by Doctor Kyudai Garaki, he no longer has an equal. And even the new number 1, Endeavor is no longer able to stand up to him in one on one. Fortunately, Deku, Bakugo, Shoto and all the heroes are all behind him to lend him a hand.
However, Shigaraki is not alone either. He has at his side a whole army of Nomu and super villains all dedicated to his cause. And it is without counting on the presence of Dabi who, both by his actions and his words, to deal a hell of a blow to the camp of the heroes.
These acts have allowed Shigaraki to get back on his feet and only Midoriya is now able to stand up to him. Still, things are looking bad for the hero side who have already suffered huge losses.
