The Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 launch trailer is coming, bringing with it a range of new Fortnite skins featuring some of your favorite characters from games like The Witcher and Doom, as well as other popular series like The Witcher. favorite anime My Hero Academia, to the epic battle royale game. The trailer also gives us a look at the Dirt Bike in action in new Fortnite map regions such as The Citadel, Shattered Slabs, Brutal Bastion, and Slappy Shores, as well as the new Reality Augments.
As you’d expect from the colorful collaboration hub that Fortnite has become, crossover skins stand firmly in a featured spot throughout the trailer. Along with new makeovers for your favorite Fortnite main cast members, you’ll be able to get your hands on the Doom Slayer himself as part of Battle Pass progression. Epic says The Witcher Geralt of Rivia will become unlockable “later in the season”, while Deku from My Hero Academia also appears near the end of the trailer.
Your Fortnite movement options are once again expanded – the “Trail Thrasher” is a new Fortnite Dirt Bike that lets you perform cool tricks and even use weapons while you ride. Meanwhile, sprinting over obstacles will now force you to step over or over them as appropriate, giving you a quick way in or out of the action.
Fortnite Chapter 4’s reworked island includes many new places to visit. The quarry is home to the Shattered Slabs mining facility, where Kinetic Ore is mined. Brutaal Stronghold is home to the Warriors of Reality and sits atop a snowy mountain where players can spawn and jump inside giant snowballs to move quickly and even crash into enemies. You’ll find the Slap Juice factory in Slappy Shores, while The Citadael is home to the castle of The Ageless, whose duty it is to protect reality.
Fortnite Reality Augments are special bonus items that will drop randomly the longer you stay in a match. These give you a range of cool abilities, such as redeploying your glider or new weapons, or allowing you to drive around without needing fuel so you can get the most out of any vehicles you encounter. There are plenty more Reality Augments to find, so keep your eyes peeled for them as the match progresses.
There are also plenty of other new Fortnite weapons to check out – probably the most exciting of these is the Shockwave Hammer, which can be used to launch you long distances, as demonstrated by Geralt in the trailer. There’s also a blade-launching Ex-Caliber rifle along with several other weapons: the Thunder Shotgun, Twin Mag SMG, Maven Auto Shotgun, Red-Eye Assault Rifle, and Tactical Pistol all join the melee.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 start date is December 4 – which means you can jump in right now while you read this. It is currently planned to end March 10meaning it will last for 96 days.
There’s certainly a lot to look forward to in the Epic Games toybox we call Fortnite this season – personally, I’m very excited to see Deku in action and hopefully we can get some more My Hero Academia characters there. ‘coming. Of course, we’re sure many of you are already gearing up to pit MHA’s nicest boy against Goku, because that’s what Fortnite is ultimately about.
