My Hero Academia: Season 6 trailer

An intense new trailer for My Hero Academia Season 6 has been released, giving MHA fans a glimpse of what to expect in the series’ next paranormal release arc.

Featured on Toho Animation’s Official YouTube Channel, the trailer features a slew of heroes and villains who will clash in the upcoming Paranormal Liberation War, a showdown between Japan’s pro-heroes and the villainous Paranormal Liberation Front. Among the villains featured, we find the Spinner, which looks like a turtle, Dabiwho wields fire, and of course FPL leader Shigaraki Tomura and one of the most powerful villains in the MHA universe. A particularly disturbing shot of him is near the end of the trailer. The release date for season 6 is around fall 2022.

Along with the new season of the anime, animation studio BONES also produced a baseball-themed MHA special in Japan, which premiered on June 16. This film revolves around a character calling himself “Mr. Smiley” which triggers a series of graffiti throughout the city. Endeavor must deal with the troublemaker, but chooses not to get directly involved until Mr. Smiley makes the mistake of vandalizing the pro-hero’s house.

My Hero Academia takes place in a universe where more than 80% of humanity has developed superpowers called “quirks”. Selected students go to a school called “Hero Academy” to learn how to effectively use their Quirks and become powerful superheroes. The series revolves around Izuku Midoriya, who enters the Academy with the dream of becoming a superhero, despite the fact that he was born without powers. His selfless attitude leads him to become the protege of the famous hero “All-Might”, who is instrumental in his quest to become a true hero.
