One would imagine that after the fiasco with Death Note (40%) Y Cowboy Bebop (67%), Netflix would be more careful to adapt popular anime titles. But they say that hope dies last and that seems to be the case with the platform that has now signed up to make a live-action film of My Hero Academiaan animation that has become one of the most successful in recent years and for that reason they could not pass up.
According to information from VarietyNetflix has acquired the rights to the live-action film from My Hero Academia which was in development. The film will be directed by shinsuke sato and written by Joby Harold screenwriter who worked on Obi Wan Kenobi (95%) Y The Army of the Dead (78%). He also wrote some well-received action movies like John Wick 3: Parabellum (98%) Y Edge of Tomorrow (91%)so it will be interesting to see what he does with the franchise.
as you know, My Hero Academia follows the story of Izuku, a superhero fanboy who dreams of becoming the most famous of all and a symbol of hope. However, he is born without any special abilities and almost gives up on him until, after an encounter with his hero, All Might, he decides to train at the school for youngsters with powers whether or not he has one himself.

This title is the latest in a series of adaptations Netflix has made of popular anime. The other is the show One Piece Film: Red (90%). Of this we have also seen very little, although the elaborateness of some sets that were shown in a quick glance seem to reveal the care that is being taken for the project.
The movie of My Hero Academia It still does not have a release date, but, with Netflix on its side, it is most likely that production will begin no later than mid-2023 and that in the following months we will have the first news about the casting.
