One of the biggest changes that came about as a result of My Hero Academia War Arc was Deku’s transformation into his darkest guise yet, with the young hero and wielder of One For All attempting to hold down hero society on his own. Sporting a costume unlike anything we’ve seen before, Midoriya looked more like a villain than a hero to many, and it looks like a new cover for the Shonen manga has given us a fresh look at that wild aesthetic that’s sure to make some viewers’ heads spin when it hits the anime.
Without going into spoiler territory, Izuku has never had a tougher time in his life as an aspiring crime fighter, going from crime to crime and having to dodge the advances of Shigaraki and All For One. Although All Might tried his best to help his student, Deku did not allow anyone near him, lest they would eventually be harmed by those who sought One For All’s power. The sixth season of the anime adaptation of My Hero Academia is set to arrive this fall, though the war arc could take up the entire season and it might be a while before fans see this. Animated Darth Deku.
Creator Kohei Horikoshi shared the first look at the cover of Volume 33 of My Hero Academia manga, giving us a whole new look at Deku’s dark look, as well as Uravity and Iida also being highlighted as the young heroes find themselves trying to stop Midoriya’s suicide mission:

During the latest event known as Jump Festa, Horikoshi himself said that his hugely popular Shonen series had about a year of story time before the epic UA Academy adventure ended. Although the mangaka didn’t hint that the series might return with a sequel, many fans of the series would like to see the main characters grow old and receive their own version of naruto shippuden.
