The name “Sasuke Uchiha” of naruto is not unheard of, as the character has gone through many layers to become one of anime’s most famous characters. Introduced as a deuteragonist in the original naruto series, audiences were shocked to see how he became an antagonist in the sequel series, Shippuden.
Sasuke’s turn to the dark side triggered many of the events we now know about in the Naruto Shippuden animated series. However, he is not the only one of his kind who has followed the trope of being very serious, getting mean, or betraying his comrades in his quest for revenge.
The following article does not focus primarily on Sasuke but on characters from different anime who share the same attitude, personality, and behavior.

4) Uryu Ishida from Bleach
Uryu Ishida from Bleach may seem more calm and composed than Sasuke, but this is usually not the case. Both characters come from a long line of powerful clans, making them one of the last surviving members of their respective anime.

Considered a prodigy and suffering from immense childhood trauma, Shoto Todoroki qualifies his similarities with Sasuke more than Katsuki Bakugo. Sure, Bakugo has an intense rivalry with the series’ protagonist, but Todoroki shares the most similarities in his background, emotions, and personality.
Both being shown as quiet children in the class, Todoroki was shown to take care of his family despite the abuse he suffered as a child, unlike Sasuke. This was mostly due to the proper guidance and support Todoroki received from many heroes since he was a kid, which didn’t make him evil either.
6) Guts of Berserk

8) Scar of Fullmetal Alchemist
Similar to Sasuke, Scar’s entire race fell victim to a massive slaughter, which drove him into a state of revenge. This led him to kill the entire race rather than just looking for those responsible. However, after realizing his mistake, Scar decided to help the same race he had sworn to destroy, to defeat a greater evil.
