A Naruto Fan Goes Viral With His DIY Fireball Jutsu Rig

Naruto Uzumaki might know how to throw a Rasengan in battle, but when it comes to fire, Sasuke Uchiha is your man. The ninja inherited a number of fire-style moves from his father before his family was killed, and Sasuke continued to master the element as he grew older. These days, moves like Great Fireball jutsu are synonymous with heroes, and a fan is now aiming for that spot thanks to a viral video.

The reel appeared on Reddit thanks to user stavrosps123. It was there the naruto fan showed off a little Naruto-inspired gadget, and it’s basically a compact flamethrower that any Uchiha would be jealous of.

As you can see above, the video shows the fan doing a series of hand signals from naruto before the shot moves to show their profile. From this angle, fans can see that a tiny flamethrower has been woven into the designer’s sleeves, so it’s hard to see it from the front. Someone off-screen is able to ignite a stream of compressed air to set the jutsu into action, and the results are truly impressive on-screen.

Obviously, a lot of work has gone into this viral gadget, and its dangerousness cannot be overemphasized. It’s not the kind of technology you want to add to a naruto cosplay, but professionals can admire how transparent this accessory is. After all, the only way to perform this jutsu in real life before was to spit fuel from your mouth into an open flame and pray for the best. This nifty device certainly streamlines the process, but in the end, nothing can compare to the actual jutsu Sasuke learned. But until humanity learns to master chakra, this viral video brings us as close as possible to the Great Fireball jutsu.

What do you think of this fan’s take on this Fire Style jutsu? Do you think other movements of naruto could be done in real life…? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below or hit me up on Twitter @MeganPetersCB.
