Boruto’s Karma Returns In The Naruto Anime

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations takes two very different paths when it comes to its anime and manga, with the Kara organization still plotting revenge in the pages of printed history while the TV series takes Team 7 on a very different mission. Now, it looks like a major element of the manga will return to the anime proper as Boruto seeks to unleash the Karma energy force once again and potentially free Momoshiki in the process.

A new advertisement for episode 246 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations not only details the return of Boruto’s most powerful transformation, but also points to the idea that Kagura is about to sail rough seas in the anime’s current arc:

“However, in a heartless/merciful way… the sharp blade resonated right through Kagura’s chest! Boruto’s Enraged Karma is activated!”

Twitter user Abdul_S17 shared the latest VJump preview, hinting at the return of the power that augments Boruto Uzumaki but comes with a deadly side effect in which the Otsutsuki member known as Momoshiki is capable. to take control of the body of the son of the Seventh Hokage. :

It will likely be a while before we see the events currently unfolding in the manga make it into the anime adaptation, with the battle against Jigen taking place fairly recently on the printed page. With Shonen franchise creator Masashi Kishimoto back writing the Shonen franchise, things changed astronomically with the deaths of Jigen and Kurama. With Jigen’s right-hand man, Code, seeking revenge for the loss of his master, the rogue ninja has assembled a new collection of villains. Even with Jigen dead, the Kara organization continues and the Hidden Leaf Village tries to keep them at bay.
