The industry of dubbing in Mexico he is in mourning after it will be confirmed the sad and unfortunate news of the passing of the talented and iconic actor Herman López, who among many other outstanding works participated in anime series such as Dragon Ball, Naruto y Sailor Moon.

The news has been confirmed by the actor and director of dubbing Lalo Garza, who dismissed a great friend with heartfelt words through his Twitter account, as he even mentions that he was “his first father in the medium.”

Herman López was recognized for participating in animated series such as The Simpson, where he gave life to Otto, The Powerpuff Girls, where he lent his voice to interpret the Mayor of Saltadilla, or as Justo Bolsa in Courage the Cowardly Dog. Of course in the world of anime I also had small but remembered participations, well was in charge of bringing the shinobi hound Pakkun to life in Naruto, Grandpa Hino in Sailor Moon and the Sea Turtle in the different sagas of Dragon Ball.

He also participated in recent anime projects such as Record of Ragnarock and the movie Pokémon: Secrets of the Jungle, so he is an actor who always knew how to stay current within the industry.

In the same way, he had his foray into the world of video games, since he participated in the franchise as League of Legends, Smite, Fable, Halo Y Assassin’s Creed: Unity, to mention just a few.

From Senpai we send our deepest condolences to Herman López’s family and friends. Rest in peace, this talented Mexican voice actor who leaves us a huge legacy.
