It is not just a stamp. Since Monday October 10, 2022, La Poste is issuing a stamp bearing the image of Naruto, the famous cartoon hero from the eponymous manga to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the animated series and the arrival of manga in France. VSThe stamp and the Naruto sheet benefit from different “material effects” processes: red hot stamping with reflections on the Kanji in Naruto’s hand, a selective varnish on the Naruto logo of the stamp and the edge of the sheet as well as an effect varnish movement animating the background of the stamp. We can thus see lines of movement appear behind Naruto when we tilt the stamp.
It’s D-Day for #naruto ❕

The manga created by Masashi Kishimoto in 1999, tells the story of Naruto, a rather special boy who dreams of becoming a very great ninja. Solitary with a fiery character, he is not the most appreciated in his village. Despite this, he keeps an ambition deep within him: that of becoming a “master Hokage”, the highest distinction in the order of ninjas, and thus obtaining the recognition of his peers, but this will not be easy. .
>> One Piece, Naruto… why does France love manga so much?
Naruto is a global phenomenon. The manga has sold 250 million copies sold worldwide, including 20 million in France. Arrived in France 20 years ago, this manga has risen to first place in the bestsellers for more than 10 years. A historic record. The broadcast of the animated version on television channels has contributed to its success with more than 5 million DVDs purchased since 2006.
