The creator of ”Naruto”, Masashi Kishimotohas just redrawed the first magazine cover of the sleeve. Kishimoto introduced a new interpretation of Naruto Uzumaki as his debut on the cover of issue #43 of the magazine. Weekly Shōnen Jump.
The mangaka completed the illustration for the latest magazine Saikyō Jumpwhich includes a column referencing the lengths Naruto has come since the franchise was created in 1999. Due to the great reception of Kishimoto’s manga, Weekly Shonen Jump serialized “Naruto” until 2014.
In 2016, the new manga ”Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” began serialization in the same magazine after being transferred to V Jump.

In addition to Kishimoto’s new drawing, the ”Naruto” franchise has commemorated the anime’s 20th anniversary in various ways. Studio Pierrot, in charge of producing the anime, published a 10-minute video of various scenes from the original series reanimated, such as the first battle between Naruto and Sauke, as well as the confrontation between Sakura, Lady Chiyo and Sasori.
Kishimoto also shared three new images to celebrate the monumental achievement of ”Naruto”. Featured artwork includes Sasuke’s emotional reunion with his older brother Itachi and two scenes of the young Uchiha with his longtime rival.

Beyond ”Naruto” and its two sequel series, ”Naruto Shippuden” and ”Boruto”, the anime will soon adapt the ”Naruto: Sasuke’s Story – The Uchiha and the Heavenly Stardust” arc, also know as ”Sasuke Retsuden”. The next episodes of ”Boruto” will premiere on January 8, with episode 282 titled ”Sasuke Retsuden: Infiltration”, and episode 283 titled ”Sasuke Retsuden: Star Lines”.
The ”Sasuke Retsuden” manga was released in 2019, being a spinoff with a total of six chapters. The story takes place before the end of ”Naruto Shippuden” and follows the love story between Sasuke and Sakura. However, everything gets complicated when they both have to collaborate with Kakashi to enter a facility and find a cure for a strange disease that affects Naruto.
