Naruto creator will let fans choose the protagonist of a new manga

A new survey to determine which is the most popular character of ”Naruto” has just been released by the creator of the anime, with the winner starting the story of a new manga. During the Jump Festa event, fans were introduced to narutop99survey where fans will have to vote for their favorite character.

All fans will be able to access the official poll to vote once a day for the character they want me to win. The characters remaining in the top 20 will receive a collectible figure and new artwork by Masashi Kishimotowhile whoever comes first will star in a new short sleeve series.

While the NARUTOP99 voting will conclude at the end of January, the official results will not be officially revealed until April 2023. A new video was posted on the official page and on YouTube with all the questions that the contest will cover, letting some of the contestants see the characters that are likely to be voted for by fans such as Sasuke Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, Gaara among others.

Kishimoto himself has encouraged fans to vote in NARUTOP99, revealing a new image of a young Naruto pointing to an awards podium, accompanied by the following message:

”NARUTO has done many character popularity polls in Japan’s Shōnen Jump Magazine, but this is the first time we’ve done a worldwide poll, so I’m excited to see which characters will come out on top! I look forward to many votes from fans around the world!!”

Kishimoto’s “Naurto” manga first appeared in Shueisha’s Weefkly Shonen jump magazine in 1991, with the final chapter published in 2014. Studio Pierrot was in charge of adapting Kishimoto’s story into two anime series: ”Naruto” with a total of 220 episodes, and ”Naruto Shippuden” which had a total of 500 chapters.

Both ”Naruto” animes are available on Crunchyroll.
