Well, chapter 72 of the Boruto manga has just taken an interesting turn, as it could make Sasuke the next great teacher.
Boruto manga chapter 72 revealed that Hinata was worried about Boruto’s continued missions. She is scared because after Kawaki killed him, it was only due to Momoshiki’s possession that the boy revived. Still, with the alien essence still inside and threats like Code, her daughter Himawari saw her despondency and went to great lengths to comfort her mother. He admitted that he wanted to level up as a ninja to protect his village, and more so, Boruto.. Hinata’s heart melted at the sight of this effort, but this might be more than just a child’s dream. After all, Himawari has immense potential, as she inherited the Byakugan eyes from the Hyūga clan.
Therefore, after training with his grandfather on his mother’s side, Sasuke can now fit in and help Himawari further enhance her talents as would Master Kakashi himself. Thanks to his experience in using the Sharingan, he can extract a lot to change the way the Byakugan is used. After all, Sasuke is one of the most knowledgeable, competent, and adaptable ninjas in history, so this may serve as a bridge to how his respective clans, him being the Uchiha, used his eye jutsus.
Himawari has a lot of power in her as she has Naruto’s blood and chakra, which had Kurama (the Nine-Tailed Fox). Then a chakra expert like Sasuke can help her change the laws and rules within her own clan, like she did with her Rinnegan, since all of these eyes have something in common. Even out of her sight, Sasuke can help Himawari with shadow clones, lightning attacks, and other nature-based techniques that the Hokage may not be able to teach him since he’s busy with war and politics.
Since Amado is still a suspect and Konoha cannot trust Eida and Daemon, Himawari could easily transform into Boruto’s secret trump card. Ultimately, he is stronger than Boruto and Sarada due to his mixed lineage. Just like Toneri once tried to tap into Hinata’s potential, Sasuke can help Himawari unlock what the Hyūgas couldn’t, and maybe even get her as close as possible to being the next Sage of the Six Paths.
Sasuke could become a great teacher like Kakashi in Naruto
Many Boruto fans have been surprised by the path Sasuke traced from the beginning of the saga until now. As part of the Konoha village, he roamed the outside world, spotting threats to the new shinobi age. He was part of his redemption after he turned bad in the Naruto series and honestly, a lone wolf role has suited him well. However, with these new twists, he could become a great ninja master.
He quickly positioned himself as Boruto’s mentor, helping the boy hone his talents for Team 7. This created tension between Boruto and the Hokage, but Naruto resolved things with his son in time. Sasuke eventually mentored his own daughter Sarada as well, not only out of her jealousy, but because he had to perfect her Sharingan. He brought Sasuke’s story full circle from rogue ninja to mature master, and now the manga is poised to give him a better apprentice, Himawari, the daughter of Naruto and Hinata.
