With the sequel anime, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations introducing an entirely new cast of characters and bringing the original Naruto team into adulthood, many questions have been raised among fans about what happened in the time between the original series and the sequel. To help fill much of these gaps in the story, spin-offs were released in the form of light novels.and one of these stories featured a closer look at the relationship Sasuke and Sakura.
Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno’s light novel is called “Sasuke Retsuden: Uchiha no Matsuei to Tenky no Hoshikuzuse”, which translates into Spanish as “Sasuke Retsuden: The Uchiha Descendants and the Celestial Stardust”. Now according to leaks, this original story will have an anime adaptation that will begin its broadcast on January 8, 2023.
A few months ago, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Naruto franchise, it was announced that the light novel series would be adapted into a manga series. The post has been ongoing since October 2022 and got a positive response from readers. The fans hoped that the manga would soon have a series. However, it will not be a standalone anime series, rather, it will be a separate arc from Boruto: Naruto Next Generation.

Sasuke Retsuden Episode 1 (Boruto Episode 282) is titled “Sasuke Retsuden: Infiltration”, and episode 2 (episode 283) will have the name of “Sasuke Retsuden: Star Lines”. Details on how the story will be incorporated into the ongoing Boruto anime have yet to be announced, as Sasuke Retsuden takes place long before the events of Boruto, specifically, after the Shinobi war ended.

While the light novel, It was written by Jun Esaka, who has already been in charge of other stories based on the ninja world.
It should be noted that Sasuke Retsuden belongs to a trio of novels that began to be published in Japan from 2019 and feature covers drawn by the creator of the original series Masashi Kishimoto.
