Naruto: Sasuke’s Story Manga Launch Naruto: Konoha’s Story

Two spin-off stories continuing from the conclusion of the naruto the manga debuted in English. Title Naruto: Sasuke’s Story and Naruto: The Konoha Story, the spin-offs record some of the series’ famous ninjas and their adventures after the Fourth Great Ninja War. Both series have their first chapters readable for free on the Shounen jump and the Manga+ service [Thanks, ANN!].

Both manga are based on novels written by authors Jun Esaka and Sho Hinata, and published years after the manga’s conclusion in 2014. by Sho Hinata Naruto: The Konoha Story – Steam Ninja Scrolls was released in 2016. Jun Esaka’s Naruto: Sasuke’s Story – The Uchiha and Celestial Stardust was released in 2019. The manga adaptations are handled by Natsuo Sai and Shingo Kimura respectively.

Naruto: Sasuke’s Story follows Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto’s teammate, eternal rival, sometimes enemy and best friend. As an adult and agent of Konoha, Sasuke has infiltrated an astronomical observatory far from the Land of Fire. There, he and Sakura begin a secret investigation into a murderous plot that could upset the global balance of power.

Naruto: The Konoha Story focuses on a newer one, Mirai Sarutobi, who is the Third Hokage’s granddaughter. Set at the time of the naruto The manga’s final chapter, the series follows Mirai as she escorts two Konoha luminaries: Kakashi, the retired Sixth Hokage, and Might Guy. The duo have an absolutely secret mission: to take a vacation! With Naruto taking over as the Seventh Hokage and set to convene a Five Kage Summit, the two former veterans are finally taking some much-needed time off.

Both series are available in English either from Viz Media’s Shounen jump or Shueisha’s Manga Plus service. The edition of the novel in prose Naruto: Sasuke’s Story will go on sale in retailers on November 22, 2022.
