In 3DJuegos we love the Naruto series. Well, not the filler, and rather what we love is everything that comes before Shippuden; and okay, we have a love-hate relationship with Boruto, but we love the license! Today, by your side, we will decide how the best Naruto video game has to be that has not been done yet.
Naruto is an amazing manga and anime. Being honest, he has known how to take everything that has done good to the dragon ball saga and even Harry Potter. On the one hand, we have warriors with the ambition to be the strongest, interesting rivalries between them, adventures, many trips and the creeps to increase the level of power. From Harry Potter, Naruto has stayed with the sorcery schools, here they are villages, and with a lot of jutsus as spells. Voldemort is Orochimaru and the Death Eaters are kind of like Akatsuki. all this i just said you have to read it with many quotation marksof course and with more desire to make a joke than to make a serious comparison.
naruto always It also reminded me of Berserk in the rivalry between Naruto and Sasuke. As happens to Guts with Griffith, the good Uzumaki longs to meet the Uchiha again despite the fact that he only wants to follow the path of evil. And along the way many things happen to him. But unlike what happens in Berserk, what has always fascinated me about Kishimoto’s manga is his secondary characters, not the main couple. Gaara, Rock Lee and Shikamaru are wonderful. And the best fights, saving the epic fight between Naruto and Sasuke before he leaves in search of Orochimaru, they are also starred by others. The battle between Orochimaru and the third Hokage is incredible, as is Gaara’s against Rock Lee.
And now we come to video games. The problem that we have had in our environment is that they have not been able to get the most out of their ninjas. The best games have been CyberConnect2, but there was not all the strategy of the most impressive battles, nor the trips that occurred in the anime or the politicking. Nor have we had a license title in which we can handle a ninja that grows and matures, that it evolves or that it faces a great evil. For this reason, and with Boruto in full publication, it is time to demand the Naruto game that we all deserve. And if it is without padding, much better, please.
Fighting, open world or Battle Royale?
I think that the three genres that can work best for Naruto are fighting, either in teams or individually, an open world adventure with touches of RPG or a battle royale. On the latter there is already something developed, although quite irregular. Naruto to Boruto Shinobi Striker It’s a fighting game in wide scenarios, but it could work to propose a video game based on the chunin exam with many more contenders at the same time, with only young ninjas surviving in the jungle. However, what I most want is to play my character and travel the whole world, complete missions, join factions and fight relentlessly while leveling up, using the stage to set traps and cast jutsus. And you? What do you prefer? Maybe that Arc System Works make a 2D fighting title?
Young Naruto, Shippuden or Boruto?
Let’s get serious, shall we?young naruto, Shippuden or the new generation led by Boruto? Each option has its advantages and disadvantages. Boruto has the advantage of seeing the characters we love most grown up, as well as a world with still room for evolution. In Shippuden we have the most destructive powers with the most powerful ninjas… But the stage that I like, and the one that made me fall in love with the series, is that of Naruto as a child, before he disappeared to learn to master the Sage Mode. In my opinion, the ideal would be an adventure at that moment, when everything is to be done and to start and, if not, for the video game to start before naruto was born. It’s up to you to choose.
Solo or cooperative?
Is a solo or team play experience better?
A great idea, and very typical of Naruto, would be that you don’t play alone, but have to assemble a team of three friends. The Shippuden stage is more suited to the individual approach, but not the other two. If it were an open world game, it would be great to be able to access different dungeons with our three ninjas to destroy hordes of monsters. But of course, the truth is that when you play alone, infiltration missions that are also seen in the anime would make more sense. Perhaps it would be interesting combine both proposalswhat do you think?
The style of CyberConnect2 or another more special?
The truth is that it is difficult not to demand the same level of graphic quality that we have enjoyed in the Ultimate Ninja Stormbut the visual style of CyberConnect2 it is brighter and brighter than the original anime. We can opt for it or ask for a touch more similar to that of Naruto to Boruto, which intended to get closer to the series with some somewhat particular decisions when developing its textures. A third option is to make it more like Kishimoto’s original work, with finer nibs used and more white space in the panels. I really love how you draw. Or to the live action.
Starring the ninja from Naruto or an avatar created in an editor?
Are you the main character or do we leave that role to Naruto and Sasuke?
If we talk about an adventure or an RPG, do we prefer to handle the two canonical protagonists or others? If we stick to a battle royale, would a warrior created by a publisher or ones we already know be better? Personally, my dream would be to make my own ninja, choose his birth village, and progress through a story created for me. Meanwhile, around me, the different events of the ninja world in which I would participate would take place. I think that would be much more original than the most common: handling Naruto, again. This is my opinion, butwhat do you prefer?
And while we’re at it, would we want an F2P or paid game?
Battle Passes or a single payment with DLC?
It is clear that F2P is fashionable and very profitable, so what do you prefer? On the one hand, we can opt for an F2P in which we would pay for characters, outfits, etc. We could also be talking about a Genshin Impact with a roulette gacha system and chest openings. The advantage is that you would not have to pay for it… At first. We can opt for that or for a title for which 60, 70 or 80 euros are paid, and something else. I’m from the old school, so I prefer to pay and forget, but the decision is yours.
