In Naruto, the story is incredibly gripping. And this, despite a strange inconsistency concerning the main character of the work.
Naruto, an exceptional story… but still gray areas?
Naruto is one of those must-have anime from the early 2000s. The fate of little blond Naruto, who dreams of becoming the most powerful ninja in his village, will affect millions of people around the world. Naruto’s story continues today in the anime Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Before reaching the status he has in Boruto, Naruto experienceda very difficult childhood. At school, the son of the 4th hokage was rejected and its results were catastrophic. The inconsistency of which we are going to speak starts from there. Explanations.
Naruto shouldn’t have ended up on Team 7
As seen in Naruto’s childhood flashbacks, the boy was always in class with the same people, including Kiba, Shikamaru, Chōji, and Neji. In the anime, Naruto explains that he failed the exam to become a genin three times. So it’s strange that Naruto ends up in Team 7 with Sasuke and Sakurawho are the same age as him.
By failing the exam three times, Naruto should have ended up with ninjas younger than him once genin and not at the same level of studies as Kiba, Sasuke or Neji. It’s hard to imagine them all having failed their exams more than once, especially for the last two, considered geniuses.
The anime does not specify if several exams to become genin take place in the same year, but without explanation, one can find it rather inconsistent. Obviously, you have to follow the words of the characters to spot this inconsistency, which makes it much less striking than that of One Piece which we were talking to you about recently.
