One of many changes Naruto at the beginning of the era Boruto it was his peculiar haircut that did not leave the fans happy… to put it in some way. Naruto, the Seventh Hokage

At the end of naruto shippuden it was to be expected that our blonde ninja would change his style as he had done before. But when the change came, it took us all by surprise. The first time we were able to appreciate the shinobi’s new haircut was in The Last: Naruto the Movie, a film that takes place two years after the Fourth Ninja War. The final scenes showed the wedding of Naruto and Hinata, already with everything and a small preview of what would come later in Boruto.

Controversy soon erupted over Naruto’s new look, and complaints poured in everywhere. However, his haircut remained in the series, and it is the one with which we know him today and probably will not change again for a long time. And to all this, why did Naruto cut his hair?

Time to grow up?

Some believe that Naruto could be aging faster than he seems, losing his hair due to baldness, and his new cut would be a sign of it.. Who knows, the same and years of using his band left consequences in the coconut. There isn’t really much evidence to support this theory, it’s just based on the blonde ninja not being the mischievous little shinobi he used to be. After all, he is only 32 years old, not bad for being the Hokage that his village deserved.

Another possible explanation is that Naruto, for the first time in his life, began to care more about his appearance.. During his youth he always had the same hairstyle, but with adulthood and marriage the need to be more careful with his appearance may have come, as he wanted to find his own style. Or maybe he wanted to look more friendly and like a family man, something that the new style achieves perfectly.

The truth is that Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of the series, has never given an official explanation as to why Naruto cut his hair, but the truth is that the shinobi needed a new look to start another stage of his story.
