Garp wishes to die the same way Roger and Whitebeard did!

Garp the Hero envy the way Roger and Whitebeard died and wishes to die the same way. The World Government intended to have Roger executed in public to discourage piracy, but his last words had the opposite effect. He said anyone who can find his treasure can claim it. Thus, Roger is solely responsible for the beginning of the golden age of pirates.

Beware of Spoilers

Whitebeard was widely known as “the strongest man alive” and, after the death of Gol D. Roger, as “the closest man in One Piece”.

Before he died, he proclaimed to the Marines that the discovery of One Piece would result in a great battle that would engulf the entire world, stating that One Piece did indeed exist. He then died after being slashed and stabbed 267 times, shot 152 times and hit by 46 cannonballs. However, even in death he remained upright and did not have a single wound in his back. Whitebeard’s dying words sparked the new age of piracy and inspired countless pirates to journey to the New World, just like Gol D. Roger did.

Kaido died at the hands of Luffy. Kaido believed that only Joy Boy could cause his downfall.
Dark King Silvers Rayleigh trained Luffy because he believed Luffy was the one. Prophecy binds all events to a specific time. And that moment is now…
All the old characters have been waiting for this moment and it has already started with Kaido’s defeat in Wano.

Please note that Garp traveled to Fishman Island. Garp is aware that the time has come. Garp, as a Marine aware of the prophecy, is the only one who recognizes Blackbeard. Garp will die honorably and, like Whitebeard, he will say that Blackbeard is not the one Roger expects. As Garp will die in Blackbeard territorythe latter will be referred to as the “suggested” Pirate King.
