Richard Madden, Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie finally decide to save the universe in the latest trailer for The Eternals.
Although Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings have to reach us first, we cannot forget that the MCU’s race of immortals is also on the way. But why haven’t we known about its existence until now? The The Eternals trailer clears us some doubts.
The next phase of the Marvel Universe is already settling down. The Black Widow movie plus the Wandavision series, Falcon and especially Loki, have laid the foundations for what awaits us in the coming years. And despite the fact that the bar is very high, things do not look bad at all.
In fact, in just three months, we will have the opportunity to see how the study of martial arts is spent, and we will meet a race of immortals who have been among us for millennia. And of course, with such powerful beings living among humans, many of us wonder why they did not lend a hand when Thanos made his appearance.
Well, the reason is so simple, as they are not allowed to interfere in the natural development of events and human evolution. Of course, unless the threat they face is The Deviants, monstrous beings created on a par with The Eternals and with a level of power that rivals theirs.
To tell a story of such magnitude that it will undoubtedly span thousands or even millions of years, Marvel Studios have decided to bet on the recent Oscar winner Chloé Zhao, to take the reins of the project. Alongside her we have well-known actors such as Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Barry Keoghan, Ma Dong-seok and Lia McHugh.
It is also very possible that we have some kind of cameo from a well-known character, although this has not been confirmed yet. What is certain is that after the premiere of The Eternals, the Marvel Universe will expand to a great extent. But we will find out from November 5.
