Bandai Namco Entertainment America has released the latest trailer for ONE PIECE ODYSSEY, the ambitious role-playing game based on the popular anime. The trailer shows how Luffy will guide his Straw Hat crew through a world built from his extraordinary memories and experience quintessential settings from the series like “Marineford” and “Dressrosa.” ONE PIECE ODYSSEY will be released on January 13, 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via STEAM.
Revealed during Jump Festa in Japan, the latest trailer for ONE PIECE ODYSSEY offers fans a deeper look at how the game’s “Memory World” introduces dramatic variations on fan-favorite story arcs involving the Straw Hat crew. The game weaves together original stories that take place in key settings depicted in the anime with deep RPG gameplay, where players can take on the role of all their favorite Straw Hat crew members during combat. By revisiting Marineford and Dressrosa, in addition to the already revealed Alabasta and Water Seven, players will be able to get directly involved in these memorable moments rooted in ONE PIECE canon.
ONE PIECE ODYSSEY transports the Straw Hat crew to a mysterious new island where they embark on quests and battle powerful enemies and massive bosses in exciting turn-based battles. The game introduces a new chapter for these famous pirates, with an original story and new characters developed under the hand of series creator Eiichiro Oda.
