During Wano, Oda revealed to us the events of God Valley and after Wanoit sets the stage for a second similar incident.
We know that Barbe Noire is linked to Rock D Xebec somehow his pirate base in the New World is the same as Rocks and his ship is called Xebec’s Saber.
We know that Blackbeard, Shanks and maybe same Baggy are bound to the God Valley incident since they would have been shortly after the incident given their respective ages. One of them could be the son of the Celestial Dragon while the other could be the child of Rocks himself. Both Roger and Rayleigh mentioned that it had been a while since they had held babies aboard the ship while holding Hiyori and Momo. The babies were probably Shanks and Buggy. Here’s hoping there’s a turnaround and Blackbeard is just an ordinary guy who inherited Xebec’s will, while Shanks is either Xebec’s real son or a Celestial Dragon who chose another path.
The Road Poneglyph on Fishman Island is no longer there. Jinbei didn’t say anything about it for some reason. Of all the Straw Hats, he should know. It is likely that the last Poneglyph on the road is an Elbaf and is protected by the strongest army in the world. The road poneglyph being on Elbaf, the Straw Hats would have a reason to go there. It’s clear that Oda isn’t beating around the bush in the New World, and every location he visits has a purpose.
Luffy’s Grand Fleet
Luffy’s Grand Fleet hasn’t been seen much since its inception. Oda announced that she would be involved in a “big incident” in the chapter where she was trained.
Koby was kidnapped by the Blackbeard Pirates. Currently, Koby is tipped to be Garp’s successor and he even has Garp’s title. Garp and Roger teamed up in the God Valley incident and it’s possible we’ll see Koby and Luffy team up in the same way.
Luffy and Co.’s Bounty Didn’t Exceed Roger and Whitebeard’s Bounty. So it’s likely that the Straw Hats still have a bounty to raise before the final war/end of the series.
Oda has set up the main players of the current saga. The Cross Guild, Heart Pirates, Kidd Pirates, Straw Hats, Blackbeard Pirates, Marines and Revolutionaries.
So here’s how it could go: Vegapunk tells the Straw Hats about the origins of Devil Fruits and as a result, we might learn more about what makes Different Blackbeard. The Straw Hats travel to Elbaf, and along the way we learn the stories of Shanks, Buggy, and Blackbeard. Crocodile will likely attempt to retrieve the Ancient Weapons, which will cause him to come into conflict with the Straw Hats and Zoro with Mihawk (maybe a teaser of their final fight). There could also be a clash between the Straw Hats and the Roux Pirates.. The fight for the last Poneglpyhe will take place on Elbaf. The Marines will likely be involved as well.
After the war
The Straw Hats get their final bounty and go to Laugh Tale. In which we learn the meaning of Joyboy. We finally get the Dragon bounty and Luffy meets his father. At this point, we would see Akainu separating the Marines from the World Government and believing that he can use the ancient weapons to bring order to the world.
Akainu’s faction and the Celestial Dragons are dethroned in the final war and a new world order is declared.
In the manga, Oda always said that the New World would be a survival game. So it only makes sense that we’re introduced to a large number of characters and along the way the roster is whittled down until there are only a handful of characters left. And with the power of certain characters, we might see entire arcs devoted to certain characters. The status quo is being dismantled in several stages.
