This week’s chapter begins by showing the continuation of the fierce battle between Law and Kurohige. The attacks come and go, it seems that not one of them wants to give an inch. That is why Teach is surprised to note that Law’s abilities could correspond to those of an awakened fruit and that he didn’t know the limits of what he could do now. Taking advantage of the fight, all of the Heart crew take refuge in their submarine and flee under the sea, since all of Kurohige’s crew have devil fruits and so no one can chase them.
Meanwhile, inside Kurohige’s ship, it is revealed that Pudding, BigMom’s daughter, has been kidnapped, due to having finally awakened her third eye ability and is now able to understand what the poneglyphs say. For his part, Luffy and the others talk about what happened with Kuma. Bonney doesn’t want to attack him because the cyborg looks the same as his father, so he changes his ages and the hostility stops. Jimbe tells how Kuma was talked about, mentioning that he was a tyrant king and that is why his people overthrew him and the Navy had sentenced him to death, but VegaPunk made him an offer and he went free as Shichibukai.
After a long journey, we see how the other Mugiwaras arrive at Egg Head, the city that is 500 years in the future. After changing their clothes, they are ready to meet Dr. VegaPunk, but they might be surprised to learn that this genius has only a short time to live.
