The world of A play expands a bit in August of this year, with the franchise’s fifteenth film, One piece: red, in theaters in Japan. To help promote the upcoming movie, it looks like the Straw Hats, Red-Haired Shanks and other Grand Line Swashbucklers are teaming up with Mercedes to push some automobiles, with the Shonen movie set to hit North America. and countries outside of Japan this fall.
While official anime cars are rare, there are plenty of anime fans who have taken the opportunity to recreate their vehicles with paint jobs and decals that honor the biggest franchises that have come over the course. of the history of the medium. In this new partnership between One Piece: Red and Mercedes, it doesn’t look like fans will be able to purchase a vehicle remade in the likeness of Luffy, Shanks, or any of the many characters, old and new, that will make up the movie slate, though we’re sure this company has some surprises in store for fans.
Twitter user New World Artur has shared the new promotional image which sees Monkey D. Luffy and Red-Haired Shanks gazing at each other over a Mercedes, creating a rather unique marketing endeavor to help drive the fifteenth film forward. from the legendary Shonen franchise:

Besides the upcoming movie, A play spent its final chapters wrapping up War For Wano, with Eiichiro Oda taking a break before the series’ final arc unfolded in the manga. With Yamato joining the ranks of the Straw Hat Pirates, there are a lot of details to cover before the Shonen franchise comes to an end and fans can’t wait to see if Luffy is able to fulfill his dream of becoming the Pirate King.
We doubt that A play will be slapping their characters into cars anytime soon, as the Straw Hat Pirates continue to board the Thousand Sunny, their favorite pirate ship.
