One Piece: Each member of the Straw Hat crew, ranked by strength – JAPANFM

The Straw Hat crew are known to be one of the most powerful pirate crews in the One Piece universe. Led by the Fifth Sea Emperor, Monkey D. Luffy, this crew is home to some of the strongest characters in history, all of whom have made their names in the continuing story of One Piece.

Right now, the crew are taking on Yonko Kaido and Big Mom on Onigashima, which shows just how amazing they are. While all members of the Straw Hat Pirates are quite capable, not all have the same level of strength. Here’s how they stack up against each other.

10. Usopp, the snipers

Usopp is the sniper of the crew, who joined Luffy in the Syrup Village arc. Usopp is known to be a coward at times, and by his own admission, he often can’t keep up with the rest of the crew. Like Nami, he relies on clever tricks in combat. Sometimes Usopp can be the bravest person on the crew, but he often lacks the skills to support that bravery.

On Wano, Usopp had a hard time fighting and even injuring Page One, despite being a sniper and an Observation Haki user. It goes to show that he is one of the weakest, but among the Straw Hats, even the weakest are skilled fighters.

9. Nami, the navigator

Us 1

Nami was one of the first characters to join the Straw Hat crew, and remains an extremely important character in the story. In terms of strength, she is the weakest member of the crew, which is why she often relies on clever tips and strategies in combat.

Although she has the power of Zeus at her disposal, Nami does not possess the stamina to face powerful opponents, which is why she often shies away from combat and chooses not to engage with most enemies.

8. Brook, the musician

Brook 1

Also known as Soul King, Brook is the musician of the Straw Hat Pirates who joined them after the events of the Thriller Bark arc. As a former captain, Brook is quite strong and his saber skill is quite impressive.

On Onigashima, Brook handled multiple donors and even a Numbers member with relative ease. With his sword, he can summon the cold of the underworld and freeze all those who stand in his way; however, he is far from the strongest of the crew.

7. Chopper, the doctor

Chopper

Chopper is a vital member of the crew and he was the Straw Hat Pirates’ first major recruit after entering the Grand Line. Although Chopper is a reindeer, his Devil Fruit gives him the power of a human. By using a drug known as Rumble Ball, he can control his transformations.

Chopper’s Monster Point is quite powerful and he can maintain his potency for a total of 30 minutes after upgrading him with Caesar Clown. On Onigashima, Chopper was able to hold Queen back for a while, albeit with great difficulty. It is nevertheless an impressive achievement.

6. Franky, the shipwright

Frank

Franky was initially an antagonist in the story, but his journey with the Straw Hat crew quickly changed that. By the end of the post-Enies Lobby arc, Franky was a member of the crew.

As a carpenter, Franky is quite gifted, but he’s also a very competent fighter. He was able to improve his body and become a cyborg. He installed Kizaru’s laser on his body and using Franky Shogun he becomes a force to be reckoned with. This straw hat pirate showed his talent by beating Tobi Roppo’s Sasaki on Onigashima.

5. Nico Robin, the archaeologist

Nico

Nico Robin joined the Straw Hat Pirates after Crocodile fell during the Alabasta arc. Over the years, Robin has proven herself to be one of the most important members of the crew when it comes to finding the One Piece, if not the most important.

As a fighter, Robin uses her Hana Hana no Mi power to pop her limbs or body from anywhere and defeat her opponents. She faced Black Maria on Onigashima and managed to defeat her, an extremely impressive feat.

4. Jinbe, the Helmsman

Jinbe

Jinbe is the latest recruit to the Straw Hat crew. He joined the crew during the Cake Island arc. A former Shichibukai, Jinbe is extremely powerful and has incredible Fishman Karate skills.

In addition, Jinbe is also able to use the Haki of weaponry and the Haki of observation. On Onigashima, he fought the Who’s Who and managed to defeat him without too much trouble.

3. Sanji, the chef

Sanji

Sanji is the leader of the Straw Hat crew and a member of the famous monster trio of the crew. Although his title doesn’t suggest it, he possesses incredible fighting prowess, as evidenced by the fact that he takes on a man worth 1.320 billion berrys in Wano.

Sanji uses both the Haki of Weapons and the Haki of Observation, and his skills with the Black Leg Style and the Devil Leg make him a threat to anyone in the story. In addition, he also possesses the power of the Raid Suit, which makes him one of the strongest pirates in the whole world.

2. Roronoa Zoro, the swordsman

Zoro

Zoro is Luffy’s first mate and he aims to become the strongest swordsman in the world of One Piece. He uses the three sword style to defeat his enemies and little by little he gets closer to the level of Mihawk.

After the time jump, Zoro can use two types of Haki. He also possesses the Conqueror’s Haki, but this power remains latent within him. Currently, Zoro is fighting the Wildfire King on Onigashima, which shows that he truly is Luffy’s strongest team member yet.

1. Monkey D. Luffy, The Captain

Luffy

Luffy is by far the strongest member of the Straw Hat crew. As the Fifth Sea Emperor, Luffy is incredibly powerful and is able to stand up to the Yonkos of the One Piece world. He uses the power of Gomu Gomu no Mi in incredible ways and keeps getting stronger.

Luffy is also a user of all three types of Haki and what’s more, he can exploit the advanced forms of all of these types of Haki. By coating himself with the Conqueror’s Haki, Luffy became a pirate worthy of fighting people like Kaido. He is head and shoulders above all the other members of the crew and stands out as the strongest.
