“One Piece”: episode 1000 broadcast on Sunday in more than 120 cinemas in France

A few months after the publication of the thousandth chapter of the manga of Eiichiro Oda, the derivative animated series passes the milestone of the thousandth episode. A historic moment that fans are preparing to experience in the cinema.

Aired continuously since October 20, 1999, the animated series One Piece this Sunday, November 21 will pass the milestone of the thousandth episode. This historic moment comes a few months after the publication in Japan of the thousandth chapter of Eiichiro Oda’s manga and two weeks before the publication in France of the hundredth volume of the series.

The event will take place in several stages. Subscribers to the J-One channel will be able to discover this famous episode from 9 a.m. on Sunday, a few hours after Japan.

Fans will also meet at the end of the afternoon, around 5:40 p.m., in the Kinepolis cinemas in France and Belgium, to attend the Marathon 1000 Logs. On the program: more than three hours of marathon with the screening of the film One Piece: Strong World, short film One Piece Characters Log: Monkey D. Luffy and episode 1000. The event is sold out.

Coming soon to volume 100

The DNA platform is also organizing the One Piece 1000 Fest ‘event this Sunday in Paris. The players who achieved the 100 best scores in the game in augmented reality The Lost Island Log Pose will be able to participate in this day which will begin with the broadcast of episodes 998, 999 and 1000 of One Piece. The event will be broadcast on DNA’s Twitch channel.

On December 8, Glénat editions will finally publish the 100th volume of One Piece, with a set-up to match the event, estimated at 250,000 copies (standard and collector’s editions combined). If Luffy’s adventures are not ready to end, the popularity of the manga of Eiichiro Oda remains intact, as the current arc, of the Land of the Won, is unanimous.
