One Piece Film: RED will hold a special broadcast in June

After a week full of announcements around the characters of One Piece Film: RED The time has come for the next film in the series to have a more weighty presentation on its own channels and that we will be able to see live very soon.

The YouTube and Twitter accounts of One Piece Film: RED they announced a event scheduled for June 8 at 7:00 p.m. from Japan (7:00 am in Mexico City) with the participation of the seiyuus Mayumi Tanaka (Monkey D. Luffy) and Kappei Yamaguchi (“God” Ussop) to give new details about the film that is just over two months away from being released in theaters.

Something to note is that the second part of the panel will be focused on revealing more announcements around one piece in General, so we could expect more news about the live action series produced by Netflix or the manga that is currently in the Epilogue of the Wano Arc.

Goro Taniguchi will return to the franchise for the first time since 1998 to be the director of One Piece Film: REDas he was already in charge of directing the 1998 short for the Jump Super Anime Tour before the series premiered in 1999. Tsutomu Kuroiwa returns from ONE PIECE FILM GOLD to write the script, with Toei Animation producing the film alongside Eiichiro Oda.

One Piece Film: RED It will be released in Japanese theaters on August 6, 2022.
