One Piece y Naruto They are two of the longest-running franchises in anime. Since the beginning of this century, they became icons of pop culture, appearing in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. So, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of this pirate manga, decided to pay tribute to Naruto in his chapter 766 .
Through more than a thousand episodes, its anime adaptation has told the story of Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who as a child heard the story of Gol D. Roger, the king of pirates, who was publicly beheaded leaving a great treasure behind him.
So sooner or later we would see these kinds of peer-to-peer details. Although, unlike many others, this tribute has been hidden since 2014, year Naruto came to an end on November 10:
Eiichiro Oda, the author of One Piece used the menus of this special image to give a special message to Masashi Kishimoto, author of Naruto. By putting together each of the first letters of them, he managed to hide the following message: “Naruto, otsukare-san deshita” which translates as “Naruto, thanks for your hard work”. Surely, it was a detail that his partner appreciated a lot.
This message was so well hidden that until recently it was discovered by the fandom of One Piece. In fact, this was not the only detail that his fans found on this special page:
For example, the little fox in the front represents Kurama, the spirit that accompanied Naruto since he was a child; The jacket of this same animal is themed of this ninja and even has his favorite seasoning of his ramen. We also see how Nami is wearing a dress with the characteristic emblem of Konoha, the village hidden among the leaves, and we see Monkey D. Luffy, the protagonist of One Piece eating ramen, the favorite food of our favorite ninja.
Unlike One Piece, Naruto was the work created by Masashi Kishimoto that reached its end in 2014 and had its continuation in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. In fact, its publication began in 1999, shortly before Eiichiro Oda’s manga. It had told the story of a young ninja until he became a hokage, the highest position in his community.
